Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2 Business Objects Reporting
Situation
Performance is slow returning initial results of software installations (Reports, Applications, Microsoft products, choose "all Excel 2003", 15k installations)
Pre-10.2 time to return was 2-3 seconds.
10.2 time to return is 15 seconds.
Opening the same report a second time is back to 2-3 seconds for time to return.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.3 - see KB 7005455 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP3 (10.3) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
