Is it possible to downgrade GMS3 into GMS2 ?

There might be a situation when a downgrade of GMS3 to earlier version 2 is necessary as a temporary troubleshooting or a workaround / solution.

There has been a change in the ASA database version used for GMS2 (ASA database version 9) and GMS3 (ASA database version 10). In cases where you have configured GMS with the ASA database, the downgrade is not possible as neither Novell nor Nokia supports downgrading the ASA database versions. This applies also for Linux version of GMS where there is no option to support any external database but using internal, local ASA. However, when you used SQL database server (Windows edition of GMS), then a downgrade is possible. You will point the downgraded GMS server into the same SQL database.
