"8209 Path not found"

Environment

Novell GroupWise 6.5
Novell GroupWise 7
Novell GroupWise 8

Situation

In this scenario:
Synchronizing a user information gives error 8209 Path not found

OR

Password changed for a user from ConsoleOne does not take effect.

Resolution

1. Make sure the UNC path in the concerned Domain property from Consoleone is correct, if not then browse and select the correct Domain directory and Apply the settings
2. Make sure the UNC path in the concerned PostOffice property from Consoleone is correct, if not then browse and select the correct PostOffice directory and Apply the settings.
3. Make sure you are connected to the correct wpdomain.db on the server. So from ConsoleOne->Tools->GroupWise System Operations->Select Domain->Browse and select the required Domain directory.
