Installing ZEN Imaging partition from June update results in reboot loop

ZEN partition installed from the June update ZEN7SP1_IR4-June_09.zip

GRUB never boots the installed OS

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 4 Hot Patch 1, see KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workarounds:
1) Manually select the active partition each time the machine boots in the GRUB menu

2) Disable the ZEN partition

3) Install the ZEN partition from an older version

This problem does not affect the ZEN partition created by the ZCM 10 Boot CD from the June update
