Situation

Given the above configuration, the installation will fail when trying to install nici from the update repository:
"Installation of Package ./rpm/i586/nici-2.7.6-0.5.i586.rpm failed."
Opting to ignore this error results in a second nici installation error message:
"Installation of Package ./rpm/x86_64/nici64-2.7.6-0.5.x86_64.rpm failed."
Again, opting to ignore this error results in novell-nss failing to install:
"Installation of package /suse/x86_64/novell-nss-4.11.2499-0.2.x86_64.rpm failed"
32-bit
The nici installation will fail with the message
"Installation of Package ./rpm/i586/nici-2.7.6-0.5.i586.rpm failed."
Again, opting to ignore this error results in novell-nss failing to install:
"Installation of package /suse/i586/novell-nss-4.11.2499-0.2.i586.rpm failed"
Given the above configuration, the installation will fail when trying to install nici from the update repository:

Resolution
Fixed in nici-2.7.6-0.6 or newer.
Workaround
For the initial installation, do not include the update repo installation sources. Once the server has been built, add the update repo sources as new installation sources, and update all applicable modules.
