Situation
Unable to set the servicePrincipalName using ktpass or setspn tools for users and workstations in a DSfW domain.
Resolution
This funcionality has been added to the following patches:
oes2sp1-novell-xad-framework-6298 or later versions.
slesp2-cifs-mount-6241 or later versions.
Currently only ktpass and setspn are supported for use with DSfW. Kadmin is not supported.

Additional Information
Ktpass returns the following Error:
Cannot bind to default domain: 0x6ba ktpass:failed getting target domain for specified user.
Setspn returns the following Error:
Failed to crack name Domain-Name into the FQDN. DS_NAME_RESULT items:
1 DS_NAME_ERROR_NOT_FOUND.
Kadmin returns the following Error:
Communication failure with server while initializing kadmin interface.
