ZENworks Linux Management agent install prompts to overwrite imaging related rpm packages

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7.3 Linux Management - ZLM7.3
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2

Situation

Installing the ZENworks Linux Management agent on top of a ZENworks Configuration Management Primary Server:
"...
The following packages are already installed:
novell-zenworks-zmgweb 10.2.1-25566
novell-zenworks-zmglibs 10.2.1-25566

Installing may overwrite any configuration you have for these packages.

Would you like to continue? (y/n) [n]:
..."

Resolution

This is fixed in ZLM 7.3 Hot Patch 2/ZLM 7.3 Interim Release 1 - see KB 7003346 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.3 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workaround:
Launch the ZENworks Linux Management agent installation including the option "-i":

"...
zlm-install -i
..."

Ensure that those novell-zenworks-zmg* rpm packages do not get overwritten or ZENworks Configuration Management Primary Server imaging functionality does get harmed.

Additional Information

Launching the ZENworks Linux Management agent installation with  the "-i" option skips the installation of those imaging packages.

Althought the prompt that the agent might overwrite those packages still appears,  they do not get overwritten using the option -i after continuing the install.

Skipping the installation of the imaging packages will exclude that device from executing ZENworks Linux Management imaging tasks.

Currently the combination of ZENworks Configuration Management Primary Server and ZENworks Linux Management managed device does not support imaging capabilities in ZENworks Linux Management.
