Runtime Error in Trend Micro after installing NSL6.1

Environment

Novell SecureLogin
NSL6.1 HF14
Problem only occurs if NSL is installed in edir / ldap mode (cm, associate
Windows user). 

Situation

Runtime errors in Micro Trend after installing NSL6.1.
Error message:
Microsoft Visual C   Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Office Scan\tmlisten.exe
 
The error goes away after SecureLogin is uninstalled

Resolution

Fixed in NSL7. 
 
Workaround for NSL6.1: Install in default eDir mode with the Novell Client.  The problem only occurs with NSL installed in LDAP mode.

Additional Information

Steps to duplicate:
1. install Microtrend anti virus 
2. install NSL6.1 in LDAP mode 
3. reboot... the error will appear after os settles
