Import of trusted root certificate in the administration console crashes iManager.

Situation

When trying to import a trusted root certificate iManager crashes.
Restart of tomcat is required to get the Administration Console back up and running.

Resolution

This was a problem which already had been fixed with PKI 3.3.2 and was seen when the subject length in the certificate is greater than the hard-coded length.
In this case the subject-name was more then 278 characters exceeding the hard-coded length.
Fixed in 3.1 SP1

Additional Information

The issue is in the npki libraries (Hard-coded length).
Engineering build exist, in case needed till the time SP1 comes out contact Novell Support.
