Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1
Situation
After using the ZCC edit dialog to make a modification to an SNMP discovered object such as printer device, the changes are lost after re-discovery.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.2 - see KB 7003225 "ZENworks Configuration Management SP2 (10.2)" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Additional Information
When Model, Manufacturer, Serial Number or Asset Tag Number are edited by the user those values should be preserved irrespective of the number of times the same device is discovered.
