Environment
Novell GroupWise 6
Situation
1000's of folders in the mail box called Unnamed_Folder.dupxx
Only seems to affect localized clients.
GWCheck is the process that is renaming the folders to Unnamed_Folder.
Only happens in systems upgraded from 5.x
Gives a D11B when selecting sent items folder.
Gives D00F during Hit the road.
Other folders disappear because of these folders.
A recreate user database is the only thing that fixes the problem.

Resolution
GroupWise 6 Support Pack 2 will contain a new standalone GWCheck option: "deldupfolders" has been added to delete all hidden folder records that contain .dup in the name or are named "Unnamed_Folder".
In order for GWCheck to remove the duplicate folders you must run a "Contents" check on one or more user databases.

You must specify the "DelDupFolders" option.
To run the support option, click on the MISC tab and type in the option " DelDupFolders" in the field under "Support Options:"
It doesn't matter whether you select fix problems or not.
When GWCheck finds a folder record that has only the hidden flag specified and it contains ".dup" in the folder name or in named "unnamed_folder", then this code will delete the folder record.
