Situation
Unable to do a Search or Find in User Mailbox
Search or Find in User Mailbox results incorrect informaiton or Blank information
Search or Find in User Mailbox results incorrect informaiton or Blank information
Resolution
1. Login to GroupWise Client with problematic user
2. Follow TID-10017863 and find the Message database associated with that User account.
3. Launch Standalone Gwcheck:
a) Database Type: PostOffice
b) Database Path: Path to the PostOffice Directory in whcih the user logs-in
c) PostOffice Name: Specify the Name of the PostOffice in whcih the user logs-in
d) Object Type:User/Resource and specify msgxxx.db (Where xxx is the message database number as found in the above Step 2)
e) Action: Analyze/Fix Databases and select Structure, Index Check and Fix Problems
f) Databases: Select Message and Click on Run
4. In-case if you still face the same problem then Run Structural Rebuild on the User database and Message Database.
5. For Structural Rebuild on User Database:
Launch Standalone Gwcheck:
a) Database Type: PostOffice
b) Database Path: Path to the PostOffice Directory in whcih the user logs-in
c) PostOffice Name: Specify the Name of the PostOffice in whcih the user logs-in
d) Object Type:User/Resource and specify userxxx.db (Where xxx is the unique FID of the user)
e) Action: Structural Rebuild
f) Databases: Select User and Click on Run
6. For Structural Rebuild on Message Database:
Launch Standalone Gwcheck:
a) Database Type: PostOffice
b) Database Path: Path to the PostOffice Directory in whcih the user logs-in
c) PostOffice Name: Specify the Name of the PostOffice in whcih the user logs-in
d) Object Type:User/Resource and specify msgxxx.db (Where xxx is the message database number as found in the above Step 2 process)
e) Action: Structural Rebuild
f) Databases: Select Message and Click on Run
