Internet Email Not Undeliverable - MTA Trying Actual Internet IP Address.

The following is returned to the sender as an inbound email:

'Item to user  at <external Internet domain name> was undeliverable.'

The MTA log shows the connection being tried to the IP Address of the specific Internet domain name.


The only Internet domain name in ConsoleOne Tool as | GroupWise System Operations | Internet Addressing was not set to 'Preferred.'  Setting is as Preferred resolved the issue.
