Situation
Migration from NDS 6.xx/7.xx to NDS 8.xx failed
Migration from Recman database to Flaim failed
Migration seems to complete stage three then fails
EID's are still pointing to the Recman database instead of the new NDS 8 structure

Resolution
Using the latest version of DIBMIG, found at https://support.novell.com/filefinder in PREDS8a.exe.
Copy DIBMIG to SYS:\SYSTEM. Load DIBMIG, which will run through the conversion of the database. This should be able to convert the database.
If there is fault tolerance in the replica rings of the partitions that are on the affected server, follow Tid 7001592
Then add the replicas back to the server.
