GWCheck on Linux crashes while Reassigning orphaned documents to a New Author

Situation

GWCheck on Linux crashes while Reassigning orphaned documents to a New Author
GWCheck works fine if no user name specified in the New Author field
Windows version of GWCheck works fine with the specified options.

Resolution

Reported to Engineering
 
As a workaround, use the standalone version of GWCheck on a Windows workstation or run the GWCheck from the Windows version of ConsoleOne to successfully complete the Library maintainence with the above mentioned options.

Additional Information

ConsoleOne's GWCheck as well the standalone version of GWCheck on Linux crashes only while running it with the above mentioned options. It works fine with any other options.
 
Steps to Duplicate:
1. Lunch a Terminal and launch the GWCheck with the following command
 
/opt/novell/groupwise/gwcheck/bin/gwcheck
 
2. Specify the Post Office directory path and Post Office name
3. From the Action drop-down menu, select Analyze/Fix Library
4. Check the option "Reassign orphaned documents" and specify a user name in the New Author field and click on Run
 
Following errors might be seen on the terminal window, when it crashes
*** glibc detected *** /usr/ConsoleOne/jre/bin/java: corrupted double-linked list: 0xb7ef2178 ***
