User information not shown correctly in the BC field

Environment

Products:
Novell GroupWise 7
 
Configuration:
More than one user ID with the same First and Last Name

Situation

User information incorrect in the BC field when the mail is received by the recipient
User information incorrect in the BC field if there is more than one user with the same First and Last name
Quick Info displays incorrect information in the BC field
(Refer to "Additional Information" for a better explanation of the problem)

Resolution

Upgrade to GroupWise 8 Client. GroupWise Domain and Post Office needs to be upgraded before using the GroupWise 8 Client. Please click on the following link for information on upgrading GroupWise System to GroupWise 8.

Additional Information

Steps to Duplicate:
  1. Create two users in the GroupWise system - test1 and test2 .
  2. Give them a First Name and Surname as First and Last respectively.
  3. Now login as any other user using the GroupWise Client.
  4. Type any other user in the To field and in the BC field type test2.
  5. Send the mail.
  6. Login as test2 and rest the mouse on the BC field.
Notes:
This is a GroupWise Client issue and only happens for the BC field. For all other fields, it works fine.
