Situation
If a user's initial login is through the system tray Red-N icon (verses through the Novell Credential Provider), the "Windows" tab in the user's login profile is not created. The Windows tab (usually Tab3, but may vary) under HKLM\Software\Novell\Login\Profiles\Users in the registry is missing.
Single Sign On functionality does not work for the user.
If the user logs in the first time through the Novell Credential Provider, the login proceeds normally and the registry entries get created with all the fields.

Resolution
Apply Novell Client 2 SP2 for Windows (IR3) or later.
Cause
Because logging in through the Red-N doesn't require the Windows tab key, the key does not get created in the registry.
Since the Windows tab key is missing for the user who logged in initially with Red-N, the user does not see the Windows tab when logging through the Novell Credential Provider.
