Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1
Situation
Using ESX 3.5 with paravirtualization and SLES 10 sp2 VMI kernel, java or jsvc service consumes CPU. ZENworks server becomes unresponsive or zenloader queue actions fail to run.
Resolution
Use the standard smp kernel.
In some cases, setting to single CPU with vmi kernel resolves.
ESX update 5 from VMware is scheduled to have fix.
