The GroupWise client cannot permanently save a certificate from an ActiveID PIV card

Novell GroupWise 7
Novell GroupWise 8

Situation

Using the GroupWise 7.0.x or 8.x windows client on Windows XP .  Customer has a hardware ActiveID PIV card with certificates stored on it for the user and is trying to import the certificate into the GroupWise client.  Each time the user logs into the GroupWise client they are forced to accept an import the certificate.

Resolution

The problem was reported to GroupWise development.
