Situation
After installing an iFolder 3.7 server into a large tree, a new install of the iFolder 3.7 client may return a "Server is Old" message, even if this is the first iFolder server ever installed in the environment.
This is caused by a problem synchronizing the iFolder domain to a users account.
Other related issues are:
1. The AutoAccount.xml file is NOT properly read into the iFolder client
2. The iFolder Client appears to start up very slowly. Once it is completely loaded, it seems to run fine.
NOTE: This error will NOT necessarily appear for every client using iFolder.
Resolution
This was a problem with OES2 Support Pack 1. A server update has since been released that remedies this problem. Make sure that the OES2 SP1 server is fully patched, then download the iFolder client software from the server, reinstall the iFolder client on the workstation and connect to the iFolder Server.
