Situation

To improve User Application performance, the eDirectory Administrator should create indexes.  Without indexes the User Application users can experience impeded performance, particularly in a clustered environment.

Resolution

Indexing should be set for the manager, ismanager, objectClass  and srvprvUUID attributes.
 
In Novell Identity Manager User Application 3.6.1 the indexes can be created automatically during installation if you select Create eDirectory Indexes on the Advanced tab of the User Application Configuration Panel.
