Novell Conferencing is installed correctly.
Novell Conferencing is configured to use LDAP sychronization against eDirectory.
Situation
Symptoms:
Random users cannot login to Conferencing
Some users not showing up in the Contacts list.
Cannot find some users during a search.
Errors in the Addressbk.log
494 LDAP error creating new user, username
ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint "users_username_key"
Resolution
Corrective Actions:
The issue was the length of the phone # field in eDirectory.
Shortening the length of the phone number in the phone number field corrected the problem users.
Additional Information
Root Cause:
The phone number field in the Contacts Table in Conferencing is limited to 32 characters.
The user having the problem had a phone number listed in eDir that exceeded that limit, so it would not insert into the Contacts Table.
