Situation
How to unlock the iChain appliance to access NetWare functions
Resolution
The password required to unlock the appliance to access the NetWare console prompt (providing access to MONITOR, EDIT, DSREPAIR, NETBASIC, etc.) should be left only to specific troubleshooting requirements.
If this is required to troubleshoot a specific problem at the console (or remotely via a Telnet or RDB session into the appliance) to manually unlock it for the duration of the troubleshooting session.
To access the internals of the proxy server, enter the following command at the proxy server console:
At the ICS screen type
debug
proxy_debug_password
Note: the proxy_debug_password is "cr0wmt 911" (It's a zero, not an O) for iChain version prior to 2.1
Note: the proxy_debug_password is "proxydebug" for iChain version 2.1 and beyond
