Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1 Remote Management

Chinese Windows device

Situation

When Remote Controlling a device that is running Chinese Windows, the name of the remote operator is not readable, if an external Certificate Authority is being used.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1.2 - see KB 7001914 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.2" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Note that the name of the operator should be the Chinese equivalent of "Unknown User" - see TID 7001836 at https://support.novell.com
