Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 2
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
ZCM zone with external MSSQL database, Windows primary server and Linux primary server
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Support Pack 1 - ZCM 11 SP1

Situation

Packages in the %ZENWORKS_HOME%/install/downloads/setup folder are not rebuilt on the ZCM server after deploying a System Update to the ZCM server and allowing it to finish.

Packages are not rebuilt after using
novell-zenworks-configure -c CreateExtractorPacks -Z

Resolution

Workaround: make sure the update is actually completed on the server, then run
      zman surp <update name>
on that server. This will manually trigger the package rebuild.
