Situation

Groupwise Distribution lists or Groups do not Sync to Exchange Via the GroupWise Gateway for Exchange.
 
Gateway Log files set to Verbose show:
DXOUT: Ignored: Adding User Dom.Po.Distlist: Reason-Visibility of GroupWise object is other than System

Resolution

Set Visibility of the GroupWise Distribution list or Group to something other then Post office.

GroupWise Distribution lists, sometimes referred to as groups are set to "Post Office Visibility" when first created by default.  In order to have these List sync to External Systems change visibility:
  1. Go to properties of the Distribution list in ConsoleOne
  2. On the GroupWise Identification Tab Change the Field for Visibility to some thing other then Post Office.
  3. From the Gateway choose to Synchronize or restart gateway.
