Situation

How to create a cups administrator
Cannot install iPrint printers on linux
Error: "Incorrect username and/or password. Please try again"

Resolution

Do the following:

1) Open a Terminal or Konsole window on linux
2) Type "su" and then enter the root password
3) Type "lppasswd -a [linux_user_account] -g sys"
4) Use the above linux user when installing a printer
