Novell Client 4.91x hands-off unattended install prompting user for input

Environment

Novell Client for Windows 2000/XP/2003 4.91 Support Pack 4 Installation
Novell Client for Windows 2000/XP/2003 4.91 Support Pack 5 Installation

Situation

Novell client configured to perform hands off install to XP workstation.  The "Display=No" was set in both the acu.ini and in cuagent.ini.  When the install is initiated with either acu.exe or setupnw.exe, the install shows a prompt requiring user input to continue the install..

Resolution

The unattend.txt had the following line:

!DisplayInitialScreen=YES


Change it to:

!DisplayInitialScreen=NO


This will allow the install to function with no user input.

NOTE:  It may be necessary to re-create the unattend.txt using the NCIMAN utility found in the \Admin subdirectory of the installation files.
