Situation
When vpn master and slaves are on the same tree, startvpn on the
slave server can take up to 20 minutes to load all vpn related
modules and establish the vpn tunnel
Resolution
The issue is cause by scm services trying to log in to the root of
the tree first and, when timing out, then log in on the local
replica and loads the modules.
There is an internal scm.jar file, dated 11-november-2008 with the fix, which remove the first attempt to log in on the root and goes directly to the local replica, avoiding the delay. This module will be included in bm39sp2.
