Situation
Is there a file size limit for a GroupWise database?
Resolution
A size limit of any GroupWise database is ruled by the FLAIM database version that GroupWise uses.
With the FLAIM database version currently used in GroupWise, this limit is 2 Gig.
It is advised to not let the GroupWise databases grow to such a scale. A company policy should be well planned in advance as far as auto-archive and / or expire-reduce after X number of days. Please note, that this limitation applies to a single db file and not to GroupWise mailbox size. Under normal conditions neither user, nor message databases will reach this size.
