Environment
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management
Situation
If the"Delay execution after refresh" time on a patch is more than the"Full Refresh" scheduled interval, the deployment will not
start.
Steps for duplication:
1. Go to ZCC>Devices>Workstation>Patches and choose a patch,
2. From the "Action" menu choose the "Deploy Remediation" option.
3. Select "Recurring" on the remediation schedule drop down box.
4. Select "Delay execution after refresh" checkbox and change this value to more than the refresh scheduled time.

In this scenario the deployment does not start after the specified delay.
Note: If the full device refresh schedule time is less than the "delay execution after refresh", the deployment begins.
Resolution
Working as intended
Additional Information
Delay execution schedules are recalculated with each
refresh, meaning that the countdown restarts with every refresh.
If the delay is greater than the refresh interval, then the schedule will not fire. This helps to prevent a refresh event from intersecting with a "delay after refresh finishes" schedule event.
