NMAS iManager plug-in takes a few minutes to return NMAS Login Sequences or NMAS Login Methods tasks in large trees

Situation




NMAS Plug-in ( NMAS Plug-in 10.1.20070917 - iManager 2.6) or NMAS Plug-in 3.200.20070905 - iManager 2.7) takes a few minutes to return NMAS Login Sequences or NMAS Login Methods tasks in large trees.

In troubleshooting the slowness issue, a lan trace was taken showing that a subtree search was being done to find the Security Container and objects inside the security container.

Subtree searches are very "expensive" and in larger trees taken a long time to return.


Resolution

This is resolved in the latest NMAS plug-in.
