Error 0x000006AB when attempting to change AD password during eDirectory login

On a Windows 7 PC, during login, when the eDir and AD passwords are not yet synchronized, if you select the option "Change your Windows password to match your Novell
password", after several seconds the error, "Password not changed. The attempt to change the password has failed. 0x000006AB" will occur. Pressing OK
will take you to the desktop. The AD password will not be synchronized with the eDirectory password.
