Environment
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2)
Novell Open Enterprise Server (Linux based)
Novell Open Enterprise Server (Linux based)
Situation
The salvage flag has been set on an OES2 NSS volume.
Files have been deleted and a purge has not been executed.
A windows client shows a statistic of zero purgeable space.
iManager and an NSS verify log both show salvageable blocks, but salvageable files are not seen.
Manually re-adding the salvage flag to the NSS volume via NSSMU temporarily fixes the symptom until the next server reboot.

Resolution
The /etc/opt/novell/ncpserv.conf has manually created entries for
NSS volumes. This file should not contain NSS volume
entries. Removing the manually created NSS volume entries fixes this issue.
