Situation

Customer using Comodor external certificates

Purchased a wild card set of certificates

Comodor's website indicates to use the domain name with an asterisks.

Resolution

When creating a certificate to generate the CSR, use the subject name of:
.cn=*.<domain name>.O=<organizaton name>

example:
.cn=*.novell.com.O=Novell
