Situation

Busy searches crashes the GroupWise 7 gateway for MS Exchange
When doing a busy search the GroupWise 7 gateway for MS Exchange stops running

Resolution

Make sure the gateway exgate.exe is dated  July 14th 2008 or later.  The gateway is unable to get into MAPI to get a time zone,  so there is now a switch to bypass that check and use its configured timezone

In the domain\wpgate\exchange directory, or other location where exgate.exe is being run from, edit the exgate.cfg

Add the following switch, save the file, and restart the gateway.

  /UseGWFreeBusyTime
