Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Patch Management

Situation

Seemingly randomly, some patches will be uninstalled from workstations

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1.1 - see KB 7001406 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.1" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

The problem occurs when no servers can be contacted: some patches were installed as "child" bundles, and these did not have a direct assignment. ZCM was wrongly uninstalling these bundles.
