Situation

Symptoms:
Attachments show up as tnef.001
Attachments show up as tnef.001, tnef.002, etc. in GroupWise client when receives from a Microsoft Exchange user.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed with the latest version of GroupWise. Please upgrade the GroupWise system to the latest version.

Workaround:
Turn off TNEF formetting i.e. Exchange Rich Tex Formatting on the Exchange Server side.
