Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1

Situation

Modifying a file with Unicode characters, with the action "Edit INI file" will corrupt the file.
When the bundle gets applied the following error message comes up
ERROR: "Exception occurred while making the textfile modification: Unable to build AST for file - <path to the ini file>"

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1.1 - see KB 7001406 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.1" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
