Problems installing Novell NFS 3.0 from CD to NetWare 5.1 SP4 server

Resolution

For NetWare 5.1 servers with Support Pack 4 applied, it is recommended that the NWconfig-based install be used as found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=2962697. Remove NFS from NWCONFIG and follow the instructions at the above link which also has the download.

Additional Information

An attempt to install NFS 3.0 from CD was made on a 5.1 SP4 server. The above errors have nothing to do with the GUI install failure below although both have the same solution.

JVM 1.2 or higher is installed. This failure happens before the above errors can take place.

NOTE: Some of the above errors can still occur if there is difficulty with SCHINST extending the schema. See the "Root is not mapped" section at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=10054743 for further suggestions.
