ZCM 10.0.3 agent "does not appear to be running"

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server

Situation

Application Error: The ZENworks Service does not appear to be running.  Please restart the service try your request again.

Double clicking the Z icon causes an endless refresh of the agent.

Error occurs after upgrading the ZCM 10.0.2 agent to ZCM 10.0.3

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1 - see KB 7001200 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
