Large force cache MSI files do not install correctly

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Support Pack 1 - ZDM7 SP1 Application Launcher (NAL)

Situation

Large MSI files that have been set to copy first to c:\nalcache and then install fail.  Logs indicate a problem with the copy to the nalcache directory with an error

ERROR:  CopyMSIPackageToCache Failed: C:\NALCache

Resolution

To obtain a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support
