Situation
One user fails LDAP logins in different products. Other users do not have a problem. The problem is inconsistent even for the one user.
Novell Remote Manager (NRM) login fails with "Login Error! Username or Password invalid. Please try again."
LDAP login with Remote Insite Lights-Out Edition II fails with error "LDAP rc = 0x50(80)
Concurrent logins in dsrepair at various servers eventually returns error -217.
Resolution
Error -217 indicates too many concurrent connections. The user may have a limit on concurrent connections which needs to be increased or at least understood that it has an affect on the LDAP logins.
