The built in addressing to alltel in the GroupWise Mobile Server is incorrect

Environment

GroupWise Mobile Server 2.0.3

Situation

SMS Alert confirmation messages are not received on Alltel phones
Messages never get to the Alltel phones

Resolution

Set the user for SMS to be sent via email address using
<phonenumber>@message.alltel.com
1.  Log in as the user on the WebPim
2. Select settings on the left side
3. Select Add Alert Device
4. Select Email Address for your Mobile Phone
5. Enter the correct Email Address for the Moble Phone
 
The fix is available in the latest version of GroupWise Mobile Server
 
 

Additional Information

The built in addressing to Alltel in the GMS is incorrect, it is <phonenumber>@messa.alltel.com
The correct addressing should be <phonenumber>@message.alltel.com
