Situation

GroupWise Gateway for Microsoft Exchange Crashes when Exchange users send HTML message with embedded Graphics

Resolution

As a Work-around to this issue: Remove messages from both GroupWise and Exchange Queues as follows.
  1. Delete the messages in the GroupWise Domain/Wpgate/000.prc/gwwork directory
  2. Go to Exchange System Manager Open Administrative Groups | First Administrative Groups | Servers | Queues | MTS-OUT | double click MTS-OUT | Click the Find Now button | highlight desired item | Right Click and choose the delete with no NDR.
  3. Restart Gateway

Additional Information

The Gateway continues to Crash until the messages are removed from the Exchange and GroupWise Queues. 
Messages are seen the the GroupWise Domain/Wpgate/000.prc/gwwork directory.
Messages are seen in the Exchange MTS-OUT Queue.

The above messages must be removed for the Gateway to be restarted.
