Situation

Secure LDAP authentication begins to fail after a Windows Server update to 2003.

Error 89: Certificate Not Found

Additional Information

As of 9.16.08, the working methodology for this setup had not been globally found after several internal and customer tests.

Secure LDAP authentication to Windows Server 2000 and Active Directory from that same era seems to work without issue.

However, the GroupWise POA seems to have difficulty resolving the Base64 Certificate from Active Directory 2003 to its location and accessibility with the Windows Certificate Server.
