Cannot use 3rd Party VNC viewer with ZCM 10.1

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1 Remote Management

3rd party VNC viewer, such as RealVNC or UltraVNC

Situation

With ZCM 10.1, 3rd party VNC viewers will not connect.

3rd party VNC viewers worked with earlier versions of ZCM

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1.1 - see KB 7001406 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.1" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

This was a bug, not a deliberate design change.
