Situation
Upgrade from eDirectory version 8.7.3.9 to eDirectory 8.8.3 (8.8 SP3) causes ldap to become unresponsive after five to ten minutes. A dstrace with +LDAP during the unresponsive time shows -625 errors.
Bouncing or restarting ldap, will cause ldap to work again for a few more minutes.

The issue has been fixed in eDirectory 8.8.3 FTF2 which is available at https://download.novell.com
