No banner or separator page available with iPrint Direct printers

Situation

With iPrint direct it is not possible to print an identifying page between print jobs.
Banners will not print for printers configured for iPrint direct.
Separator pages will not print for printers configured for iPrint direct.

Resolution

Apply the iPrint NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 8b patch. (iPrint Windows 7 support - NetWare 65 Support Pack 8b)

Additional Information

Steps to reproduce:
1. On an XP workstation, configure a printer for direct IP printing (no iPrint at all). Define a separator page for the printer in properties of the printer, advanced, separator page. Send a print job. The separator page will print.

2. Configure an iPrint printer agent (with no banner at this point), install it on an XP workstation. Define a Windows separator page for that printer as above. Send a print job. The separator page will not print.

3. Configure a banner for the printer agent created in step two. Send a print job. The banner will print. The still defined separator page will not print.

4. Configure the printer agent from step 3 as an iPrint direct printer. Send a print job. The banner will NOT print. The separator page will not print either.
