Restore of a backed up database does not work in a traditional Chinese environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Database

Situation

Restoring a backed-up database via the restore batch file in zenworks/share/asa/win32 folder, results in the restore script running but restore files are not copied.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1 - see KB 7001200 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

This "restore" function in thezenworks/share/asa/win32 folder is typically used after a backup using zman.

It appears that the services are not stopping so the copy fails silently. The restore script reports success.
